As part of SneakersbeShops Talks, an ongoing series where we invite cultural luminaries to discuss thoughts and ideas, SneakersbeShops invited Jason Coles, Jacques Chassaing and Gary Aspden to SneakersbeShops Manchester for an in-depth discussion. The evening represented a discussion centred around the minutiae of design, tapping into Jacques Chassaing’s approach to lasting sneaker designs, designing with the athlete in mind and the art of balancing footwear aesthetics with function. Integral to all three are history and the impacting legacy of adidas, with the conversation delving into topics ranging from creating a brand legacy to honouring the iconic codes and history of adidas. To round off the evening, the three shared their visions for the future of adidas and the world of sneaker design.
