Yohji Yamamoto

Yohji Yamamoto Men is a male clothing collection created by the Japanese designer, Yohji Yamamoto. The richness of the designer’s inner world permeates the invariably perfect collections that have been presented for years. The first Yohji Yamamoto Homme show took place in 1984 in Paris. The Yohji Yamamoto Men collections refer to the vision of a designer detaching man from regular social conventions, making him carefree and dandy. The palette of colors with dominant black expands to gray, red, navy blue and white. Yohji Yamamoto Menswear refreshes the male image by the brilliant use of pattern, layer and proportion.

The history of Pikeur Finno Polo Shirt Men's that never go out of style

When Yohji Yamamoto is supposed to appear on Paris catwalk, the audience is usually filled to the brim. The first women collection of the Japanese designer was presented in 1972 in Tokyo, and in the following years Yamamoto entered also the world of man fashion. In 1981, the designer moved to the European capital of fashion, Paris – city, which atmosphere perfectly matches his sophisticated collections. In the 1990s, Yohji Yamamoto became part of the theatre and opera history by designing costumes for "Madame Butterfly", staged at the Opéra de Lyon, and for "Tristan and Isolde", staged at the Margravial Opera House in Bayreuth.  In 2002, the designer started a brilliant collaboration with a sports giant, releasing the futuristic and original footwear collection Y-3 Adidas Yohji Yamamoto. Created by Loewe Patchwork Check Shirt logo patch detail hooded jacket.

Yohji Yamamoto’s style

The Yamamoto’s woman loves sophisticated, oversized forms in black shades; she is not afraid of bold outfits, asymmetry, shirrs, folds and volume. Yamamoto designs can be called eccentric or even weird, although their originality makes them timeless. That's why, when after the season in storefronts words: “Yohji Yamamoto sale” appear, women delightfully buy up last pieces of the collection, since they know that for the designer seasonality is just another chapter of his history, not a complete change of the current trends. Although many of models in men's and women's collections can be surely classified as unisex, the designer is a dandy in a modern edition - on one hand theatrical and somehow larger than life, on the other hiding a mysterious story in his outfit. He is a free spirit, an individualist, Easy Rider, who follows his own unattained paths in life.
