Casadei was founded in 1958 in a small workshop in San Mauro Pascoli, where Quinto and Flora Casadei created the first collection of sandals for tourists visiting the Italian Riviera. Within a decade the brand had grown enough to export its products to the United States and Germany. In the seventies and early eighties, it expanded its business to Asia and the Middle East.
